Her spirits as low as her bank balance, she goes to a Black Friday sale to try to get a computer that she desperately needs to improve her situation. Unfortunately, she finds out that her luck isn't getting any better when she loses the very last one for sale at the bargain price...to the most disturbingly handsome, alluring male she has ever laid eyes on.     This is the best value and way to read J.S. Scott's changeling series and if you read one, you will want to read the others. Can be stand alone novels, but they are such quick easy reads, I strongly suggest you just purchase this boxed set to get the brothers stories.
    The male changeling's in this series waste no time getting to the mating, but then they have waited 350-300 years for their mates.

    This collection has three novellas about the Lancaster brothers who are all wolf shifters or changelings, the world building is very simplistic but these stories aren't about the world building. In the first story, Mate Of The Werewolf - when Grace Marin meets the biggest contributor to her wildlife sanctuary, Noah Lancaster she is shocked to find that he is a werewolf and she is his mate. To force her to agree to the mating Noah tells her he will pull the funding if she doesn't - this is after they have a sexual encounter in the rest room. Grace hates to be bullied and cannot force herself to give in to Rafe's demands but love will find a way!

    The Second Story - The Dangers Of Adopting A Werewolf is the story of Rafe Lancaster and Zoey Hall. Caught outside after dawn Rafe is running from hunters, they only way to distract them is by turning into a wolf pup and hiding from the direct sunlight (I've never heard of that being a problem for a wolf). Zoey finds the pup while she is out running and takes him home because he's hurt and keeps him although she swears she does not want another pet. Rafe gets the rest he needs while sleeping during the day and at sundown automatically shifts to his human form. When Zoey see's the stranger in her home she is shocked and afraid and also realizes that her new puppy is gone!

    Zoey has suffered a year of loss, first her sister, then her fiancé and finally her dog, she has moved to the country to gain peace and get her life back on track. Meeting Rafe is definitely not the way to gain peace. But he is so attractive to her!

    The final story is All I Want For Christmas Is A Werewolf - It's the story of Gavin Lancaster and Faith Prescott. Gavin is happy for his brothers to have found their mates but he knows that he will not have that pleasure. Gavin has already found and lost his mate when she could not accept his wolf. It happened at Christmas and ever since, Gavin has hated the holiday. When he attends a sale to buy a computer for his new sister-in-law, he and Faith reach for the last PC and when she touches him, he scents her and realizes she is his mate. Amazing! Faith needs the computer the man she was envolved with stole her computer when he stole all the notes from her thesis and then took the job she was trying to get. Down to her last few dollars she has to start a new thesis and needs to replace her computer. When she meets Gavin, she immediately runs away in fright but Gavin is not a wolf for nothing!

    This was a great little series, very enjoyable and a fast read.

There were a couple of steamy scenes in each "book" but I think that each book could & should have been longer. It seemed to me like the author was trying to hurry up & throw in a sex scene at the end, and the story Just finished. That's disappointing because the "books" started off so well.

    As much as I enjoyed the novella's I do not feel I can give them more than 3 stars as they all seemed to be a bit rushed! I know with a shifter story the attraction is an instantaneous thing but each character was not developed to their full potential. The ideas of each novella had substance, but the actual writing needed to be extended to allow you to be taken in completely by the story.
