When he recognizes a couple of the young girls in the photographs as the missing girls from his youth, he is quick to review all that he had witnessed.

An intriguing and well-crafted story right from the beginning! Each beautifully developed scene, character interaction and experience of Hollis McCrae is expertly woven together to reveal surprising connections, revelations, and lots of surprises. As things were revealed, it was so amazing to see how the clues were all there all along! Hollis is a wonderfully written protagonist; not only is he very likeable, his story will entertain you and really get you thinking about how the events in your own life may have been perhaps influenced by the afterlife! This book has intrigue, suspense and beautifully crafted scenes and characters. You will be intricately immersed into the story, and once you see how the events of the past and present play into Hollis' story, you will be sitting with your jaw open and want to read it again!

A masterfully woven story

With many wonderful books to her credit, Bambi Harris has created her best one yet! It's as if she has taken different, seemingly random, rovings of carded wool, all various shades and colors, and spun them into beautiful yarns. Then, through her incredible talent with words, woven them together bit by bit until, with the final chapter of the book, she has created an intricate, beautiful, unforgettable tapestry to delight her readers. The images and characters she has created have such richness and depth that the reader is transported into the story. And the ending, much like life itself, is bitter sweet, but leaves us with an overall feeling of love and hope.

Wow Hollis McCrae, a really thought out and put together character. Dealing with spirits of the dead! A must read. Couldn't put it down. What do you expect from Bambi Harris? She always has you thinking while reading and especially after reading. What about the afterlife? What do we really know? You can't help but wonder if she's had an actual afterlife experience herself.
Bambi Harris, you never disappoint!

I’ve read a lot of Bambi’s book and the are absolutely fascinating and very intriguing, sometimes I feel as though I’m into the story. Very easy reading and well written, love them all.
