Marine Corps veteran, Cy McMullen walked away from his life, and everyone he loved, never looking back. She soon finds purpose in volunteering at the local Veteran's homeless shelter. One cold December afternoon, circumstance pushes Rosie and Cy together in a way that forces them to come to terms with things they've long since avoided. An unlikely friendship blossoms between the two with a warmth that could melt even the most frozen of hearts. In a season where miracles are born, fate chose to bring these two lonely, broken people together to heal one another. The pain of the past is the only thing standing in their way, but they both have been given a gift, something they thought was gone forever... hope.

    This is the author’s best story yet! You feel this story right straight to your heart from the very beginning.

    Rosie is a sweet, compassionate, yet fierce survivor. Her empathy towards people, especially the homeless, is just a natural part of who she is despite the horrific experience she suffered because of her family.

    Cy is caught in his struggle for survival. The ghosts of his war experiences won’t let him rest. Being on guard and his need to protect those that need it have become second nature to him. This is his purpose out on the streets among many other things.

    I was so hooked on this story right from the very beginning and couldn’t stop reading it until I was finished, that’s how heartwarming and gripping this story is. All of the characters are a piece of the puzzle that make this a well-rounded, totally captivating love story. It’s a best-seller for sure!

    Two wounded soles, one common dream to find hope

    Cy has been living on the streets since his last deployment 7 years ago.. He is battling many demons and whne they catch up to him his only choice is to get help

    Rosie is helping at the Veteran's homeless shelter when Cy comes in and she vows to help him and support him. When his world is crashing around him can she break through?

    Story of two people who understand each other in ways no one else can. Very touching!

    Don’t be like me and save this Christmas story for December reading! Grab it up now! It’s is such a perfect addition to the Colorado Veterans Series! I absolutely loved Rosie’s strength and compassion. We learned of Rosie, earlier in the series, but much more is revealed and says so much for how she is overcoming her past and having the fortitude to reach out to others. Cy is a multi-layered person and with the intuition Rosie possesses, she very slowly peals away some of Cy’s layers. I didn’t miss the little contrast of Rosie and THE Christmas Story! Very well done Author Lynn! Finding Hope can be read and enjoyed as a stand alone, but I'm so glad I've read the entire series! I so hope that there will be more to this series!

    Finding Hope is the perfect title for this book!
    Cy is a homeless vet suffering from PTSD. Needing help he goes to a veterans shelter where he meets Rosie, a nurse volunteering there. Rosie instantly senses his needs because she has suffered from trauma in her past as well. Their broken souls are magnetically drawn to each other. Both of them start to heal with the help of one another. There's so much more to this story but I don't want to give it away. I loved this book!! I've loved all the books in this series. (They're all stand alones and can be read separately.)

    I hadn't read a book by this author before, and I guess this is a series, but not quite sure precisely where this book falls.
    Brilliant original storyline that could have been developed so much more. Cy is a marine veteran with PTSD and lives on the streets because he cannot stand enclosed spaces. After he gets beaten up he goes for help and meets Rose who is a nurse but also has past trauma of her own to deal with. They seem to give each other hope for the future, but of course a few bumps along the road appear.
    I just feel the storyline could have been expanded so much more, and then it ended very quickly with a brief epilogue, and leaving me with many questions. However as the story comes from a series some of my questions may be contained in other books.
