The world was forever changed when a government genetic experiment created the Chromodecs from a dead alien in 1952. Decades later, when it became apparent that society needed a way to deal with a hybrid humans with unheard of powers, the CORP was created. The Chromodec Office of Restraint and Protection was a special government police agency formed to keep track of the Chromodecs.

This particular tale involves two refugees, young babies who were sent down to Earth to escape being used as pawns in an interplanetary war, despite the fact that Earth itself wasn’t so safe. Destined to be Q’sirrahna, or soul mates as the humans called it, Amari Losira Del Rey and Zendara Inyri Baen-Tor would grow to be more powerful than any other beings on the planet, if they could find each other first.

After being forced to hide from the CORP when it’s realized their powers could level entire cities, Amari and Zen will have to answer one question. Who will save the world when it all falls apart?

From the Author

"Morality should never take a back seat to fear or convenience." "For true power comes from the heart and cleaves to the mind. It does not come from the mind and cleave to the heart." "They were not two beings who had fallen in love. That is much too human a concept. They were one eternal love, which was composed of two beings. Q'sirrahna"

Uniquely written but didn't hinder the flow of the story. It added flavor. It was like the story teller embedding their vision and take on chapter. Very enjoyable. Love love sci-fi.

Great story. I’m a sucker for ff aliens! Good action, good plot, great relationships. A few intimate scenes and a hea. Worth the read! This book is written in a different style then the authors usual way. There are interludes between scenes almost like there is a narrator. I am not a huge fan of it but the story was good.

While I haven't read the whole thing yet, the only issue I have had with it is the narrative sections. It breaks the immersion and usually at a good spot

Wow - another awesome book by K. Aten! I Loved the love story between Amari and Zen. Their relationship was meant to be as they are "Q'Sirrahna" to each other. This book was a thriller and kept me wanting more. As usual, K. Aten provided excellent character development. I would recommend this book to all sci-fi enthusiasts. Now, I am off to read “Rules of the Road" - another book by K. Aten.

I've gotta say this one got me, loved the story line, loved the character's even the bad guys. The author has one hell of an imagination to come up with the character's and their back stories. I really enjoyed the very last when the baddy got what was coming to his alien butt. This is a story I have no problem recommending.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story from beginning to end. The story itself was unique and creative but completely relatable. Not to mention that I am a sucker for stories about soul mates. I loved how the 'narrator' excerpts made it feel like I was watching a documentary on aliens.

    Top notch storytelling! !

I enjoyed this book and have read several by Ms Aten. The story with an additional narrative was strange at first but I soon looked forward to the narrator font. I liked how the details were tied together to create a full story.
