4.4 out of 5 stars 129 ratings

Walt teams up with bounty hunter, Georgia Peach, to bring down drug dealers, wife beaters, kidnappers, grave robbers, jewel thieves, and an ex-con looking for revenge. In the process, Walt discovers that Georgia and her family are ‘unusual’ in more ways than one. Walt thought he had seen it all as a cop for five years and a P.I for five more, but he had no idea how bizarre things could be until he met Georgia Peach.

Mea culpa! I typed this review on my Kindle and noticed my mistake in spelling Mr. Thornhill's name only as I tapped the Submit button. Corrected here. My apologies to Mr. Thornhill and his other fans!
This is my first Thornhill book, but definitely not the last. Characters are believable, the humor outstanding, and Mr Thornhill gives us stopping places when we must drag ourselves away from a thoroughly enjoyable book. I'm looking forward to my next hysterical foray into the Lady Justice series. Peggy Lovelace Ellis, Author of Silver Shadows, Stories of Life in a Small Town.

Walt gives us another good story, along with his humor..Teaming up with a bounty hunter Georgia Peach. Which includes trying to keep friends out of jail, drugs, Jewelry heist. Never dull with Walt and his cases.

This was my first introduction to Walt and his friends so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. At first it kind of had me scratching my head.
It seemed like it just rolled from one dangerous adventure right into the next one. Not a bad thing but it did take me a while to get used to that.
I also have to say that the story didn't go super deep into the lives of the main characters. But enough to like them and want to see how they were going to overcome.
It was also interesting to see how Georgia and Walt ended up intersecting job after job.
I do have to give the author credit for coming up with some interesting situations time and again. And also using some creative ways to turn things to the teams advantage. Usually just in the nick of time.

Loved the bounty hunters! I've always liked the fact that family members were an integral part of these stories and they are generally a fun bunch with some interesting foibles. Can't go wrong with Robert Thornhill and the Lady Justice series.

Pretty well written, but the character of Miss Peach is picked for Stefanie Plum. Stayed too close to the original for me not see that. Probably others will notice the same.

I love the Lady Justice books. There's always some action and some laughs included. It's fun to follow Walt and his sidekick characters around. The stories are always interesting.
