Review
"Time is an illusion until God's appointed time." This is oft repeated, stressed, in fact, in Lorilyn Roberts' aspiring young adult novel, Seventh Dimension - The City. And what is the seventh dimension? Mathematically, it is quite beyond our simple expectations, but if we think in God's perspective, it is all consuming, everything and beyond." Readers' Favorite Reviewer
"Seventh Dimension - The City, the fourth book in the Seventh Dimension Series, is an exciting page-turner which will keep readers engaged from beginning to end. Fans of author Lorilyn Roberts' work will continue to be enthralled by this intense supernatural thriller in which religion and science go head to head. The City is recommended for home and school libraries and has earned the Literary Classics Seal of Approval. Literary Classics Book Reviewer

Superb writing—characters are either likeable or hate-able, the plot never lags, and sentences flow like silk.
I particularly enjoyed the ending. Roberts’ treatment of “the end of days” was true to history and Scripture as well as being memorable. By that I mean, the word pictures she draws for you stay with you for days—especially the descriptions of Sheol.
I would definitely recommend this book for the YA audience. However, any adult would also enjoy it. I certainly did and I’m a great grandmother! The City has everything: historical fiction, fantasy, romance, and adventure. What more could you ask for!

Lorilyn does a great job imagining what various long debated passages of scripture might look like and how everything changes when Jesus enters the story.
I was a little annoyed with Shale, who unfortunately didn't seem to have grown up as much as you would expect in the three years that had passed since we last met her. She also moved between faith and fear very quickly. I think she redeemed herself in the end, but it took her a long time to get there and I really didn't understand why it was so hard for her when previously Daniel was the one really struggling to believe.
This book also assumed knowledge of Christianity much more than the previous ones. Many things weren't explained which were part of the modern church experience, but that outsiders might be confused by.
I liked the story. It kept me interested and constantly wondering where it was heading. I think Christian homeschoolers in particular would really enjoy this book or anyone who likes to think about possibilities of the final days on earth
