I loved the concept of this world where, due to a mad scientist releasing a serum into the world's water supply 30years prior, male pregnancy is possible. The main characters, Christen and Jaxson, were likeable and had great chemistry. The plot was interesting and held my attention. My only criticism would be that this novel could benefit from some serious editing. There were a lot of run-on sentences, words missing or extra words, which required a 're-read to try to make sense of what was happening. This became irritating as it kept pulling me from the story. Also, one of the twin brothers' names changed from Tristian to Tyler somewhere around chapter 6 and the twins were suddenly 2 years older than Christen when at the beginning of the book they were only a year older.
I did enjoy reading this book and will be reading the next in the series.

This was the first story I have read from this author and I will definitely be picking up more. I loved that getting together was difficult for this couple, and that their journey wasn't an easy one. Their families were also great additions and I am looking forward to reading some of their stories too.

So much so that I actually read this book in 24hrs...it kind of reminded me of when I used to get caught up as a little girl in those romance novels from back in the day. If you are off into this genre you will definitely enjoy the read. For a first timer, not too bad!! Enjoyable, intriguing and honestly has a sweet and enduring storyline!! It makes one realize that love is love regardless of who it is between...there is NO DIFFERENCE!! This has spurred my interest in reading other novels of this type. In addition, I look forward to reading the next volume which I have already ordered!! Not too bad Giovanna Reaves...looking forward to reading many more of your books in the near future!!!

Christen ist Arzt, neu in der Stadt und wird nach einem one night stand schwanger. Ja, hier können auch Männer schwanger werden, nachdem ein verrückter Wissenschaftler das Grundwasser vergiftet hat.
Jaxon ist FBI Agent und ist erstaunt, als er nach einem undercover Einsatz sein one night stand Christen wieder trifft.
Am Ende wirds noch mal spannend - jeder FBI Agent hat Feinde.

Der Schreibstil ist ausbaufähig, aber nicht schlecht.
Teil #2 hat mir nicht so gut gefallen.

I loved Christen and Jaxson. Boy, Christen sure is mouthy! I’m new to M-Preg so I was surprised with the storyline about Science being used instead of Magic but I liked it. Ms. Reaves really explained it all and the concept of men getting pregnant via science and biology was a great twist.
In the first book of any series, we get a world building and family building and that is exactly what the author has done in this book, not only telling us Christen and Jaxson’s story she also introduces us to people we will need to know for the upcoming books. I love that about an author and it keeps me guessing on who is going to be in the next book.
The love that is so evident between these two men is clearly there for us to read & see but it takes them a little longer to notice it. Christen has been so career oriented and has had his blinders on for so long, that it seems hard for him to remove them and see or acknowledge the world around him or even growing within him. Jaxson, on the other hand, has seen more of the world and is ready to settle down with the man he loves and start a family. If these two can meet in the middle they can both have the best of both worlds.
The little surprise thrown in at the end of the book was such an awesome, sweet surprise. I loved it!
