    I am a full-time mom to two sassy, strong-willed, loveable little girls. What can I say? They take after their Mama. I’m on the wrong side of 30, and I have been married to my best friend for over ten years and I couldn’t imagine doing life with anyone else by my side. We are Southern California transplants, currently residing in a very rural part of the east coast. I have two crazy dogs that I adore, even though they drive me out of my ever-loving mind most days.

    The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

    A group of ladies meet at the bar and agree that their book boyfriends are better than the offerings there.

    This is a prequel/introduction to the Daddy of the Month series. Each month our group of ladies will get together to discuss the latest book. Presumably there will be some steaminess coming in the series as well, but not here in the introduction. I do like the set up and we are given an interesting and diverse set of characters to work with. I am very interested to see where it go.

    Recommended.

    I love the idea of this for a women's book club and the fact that its erotic romance all the better. This was a nice way to get to know the women a little. They are a wild bunch of ladies and definitely a mix that would keep any daddy on his toes. It's a very quick read because it's so short. And there is nothing wrong with that fact.

    There is only one thing that would have made this prequel a bit better for me. It would have been to at least bring in one potential daddy before leaving us wondering who it would be and just what little would be lucky enough. But unfortunately the way the prequel ended for me just doesn't entice me to read the series further.

    But you are given the option to read the first chapter in the next book of this series that is included in this prequel. No, I didn't read further because although I like the prequel it just wasn't enough to make me invest more time on another possible read.

Good Luck Daddy will be out March 29th and then a new book added each month for the next year. Each story will read well as a stand-alone, but will have a group of ladies featured in most of them.

    42 pages of stupid by women old enough to know better. The dialog sounded much like a teenage (sorry teens) sleep-over.

    I came back to this prequel after having already read the first two books in the series. I'm glad that was the case as I'm not sure I would have been quite so keen to read if this had been all I had to go on. That would have been a tragedy because the first book in the series is fantastic. I love the concept of this series and I liked this introduction well enough. It's well written but I felt it didn't quite do justice to how funny and emotional the subsequent books are.
