Hard Edit: Opposites Attract M/M Romance (Black Balled Series Book 3) Kindle Edition
You see, through the most unlikely chain of events, it seems I've fallen in love with my nemesis. That's right. The one and only Troy Babilonia, a.k.a. "Babu the Literary Critic." Remember him? The one that attempted to 'black ball' my masterpiece of literary fiction and take me down with it? Only the thing is, he failed and I succeeded. Now I'm trying to succeed in this relationship we have together. It's always a challenge, but I'm the best thing that ever happened to Troy Babilonia!
My name is Troy Babilonia, and yes, I'm sure you follow my literary review column on the Bluffington Gazette: Babu's Book Talk.
Long story short, one of the Indie Author's I annihilated last year became so genuinely enamored with me that we managed to fall in love. Yes, I own L. Blackburn's heart, and trust me, it isn't always a bed of roses this relationship thing. But, it's going on one year soon, and boy, do I have a surprise for him! The sparks will fly, that much you can count on.
Hello. My name is Ida Whatley. I'm the elderly neighbor of both Larson and Troy. That's right, I've had a bird's eye view of their shenanigans over the past six months. All I can say is . . . Oy!
Because "Black Balled" just wasn't enough, Smith brings you "Hard Edit!"

Hard Edit starts up right where Black Balled ended. All the banter, big egos and sarcasm Troy and Larson are famously known for, they bring to the table. If you haven’t read Black Balled, I suggest you do because you are missing out on the first of two hottest M/M books out there right now.
Troy and Larson are living their days and nights together as a happy couple. Troy is still working as the bad-ass reviewer and completed his book “Bridge to Lonely.” To Larson’s surprise Troy self publishes it and it becomes a hit. Will the success of the book and maybe more ruin the roles they have established? Will someone from the past destroy the love they built in between all of their banter? Or will they finally grow into the next level of their relationship?
Sometimes sequels lose their luster. Black Balled is in my top 5 of m/m books I have read. So I was excited yet nervous about Hard Edit because I wanted the excitement that I got in Black Balled. I wasn’t disappointed as this story continues with higher emotions, more tragedy and other events that will have you cheering out loud for these alpha males that make it work. Of course the sex was fantastic in this book making you say “OMG!” The comic relief, bantering and good sub characters take Hard Edit to the tops of my list. I love these characters! I love the way Troy and Larson come together and make their HEA throughout all the bumps in the road. It is a great conclusion for Troy and Larson, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want more. I laughed, cried and I still want to be in their world. Oh yes, I am in this book…yours truly along with my fellow blogger made a cameo appearance at a book signing the boys attended (thanks Andrea and Eva, you rock.)
I highly recommend that you read this book. If you haven’t read Blackballed, get it, read it, and then read Hard Edit right away. Andrea Smith and Eva Lenoir are responsible for my love of Troy and Larson. You will know what I mean when you start reading.

The Gospel According to Jo:
If you haven't read Black Balled yet, I encourage you to take the journey. This next instalment and apparently the last, BOO!! Is even better, even hotter, even funnier, even quirkier. Oh! I am a huge fan of Troy and Larson, not in the stalker sense because we all know how Troy feels about that. What? You don't know what I'm talking about. Hmmm, only one thing for it, no I am not taking trip down memory lane and going over what happen in book one, you need to read. hehe!! I know you hate me, well that's okay because Larson hated Troy and look where that got them, in lust, in love, in it forever.
I have seriously laughed my head off while reading this story. Not just laughed out loud, I'm talking giggling my head off till I had tears rolling down my face. Not only am I totally on Troy and Larson's wave length, and completely get their sense of humour, I understand the relationship they have fits them. It's weirdly lovable to read. I just couldn't help but understand the dynamics of their relationship. Obviously the credit for that can only go to the writers, these ladies should definitely write more M/M together. Hint Hint!!
The elderly neighbour, Ida is hilarious, there was a scene where she was having a heart to heart with Troy and to say he was uncomfortable with the way the conversation was going was an understatement. She certainly has a way with words that's for sure. Troy on the other hand is tongue tied, haha!!
I am actually laughing while writing this review as another scene pops into my head. I swear I wish I could share with you all, but the profanities are not something I can repeat, well not in a review. I'm no prude you know. HA! Of course you know, I've just read Hard Edit and want more. Greedy much?
You know how they say opposites attract? After reading this book, I would have to agree. They also say, you get like the ones you live with. Let's hope Troy learns to use a coaster at all times since "he's sleeping with the Coaster King of Manhattan", Quoting Troy. HAHA!!
Larson and Troy go to a book signing. Sound familiar? The lead up to the signing was another reason, I couldn't stop laughing. Larson organising his swag. OMG!! If you are an Author, you know all about ordering your swag with your own brand on. And for you readers who love the swag, shame we can't get Larson's. I'd love a coaster. HAHAHA!!
Remember, Lloyd? He's got his own story to share in Guns Blazing which is available to download, but we get a little glimpse of Lloyd on his knees, well at least Larson does. Awkward!!!
This book is just jammed pack with fun, laughter, lust, love. It's an exciting read and I would definitely recommend to all lovers of Gay Romance.
Andrea Smith & Eva LeNoir, YOU NAILED IT!! I didn't think it could top Black Balled, but was I wrong. If Gay Romance readers don't love this book, I will suck my...... And that is my cue to leave this review.

For me, this book was an unexpected gift. I never expected another Larson/Troy book but I loved my 2 alpha boys so much I was delighted for more. I live on raw emotion.
I was thinking of doing this review entirely made up of Maroon 5 lyrics but nothing last forever babe, it hurts but it may be the only way.
Ok I'm done.
I snorted I laughed so hard. Larson and his OCD. Troy's hilarious book reviews - the dingleberry dilemma. The whole thing about book signings and author swag. Minette the cross dressing poodle. Ethan the ex and the ex (watch out for a sexy hot scene involving 3 - sort of).
I swear this book has it all. Naughty boys going at it. Tender moments. Karen the busty receptionist - hi, Adam is mine!
I just love the warm happy feeling that the writing of these two ladies gives me. It feels like a private joke they want to share with the reader. I feel they genuinely love Troy and Larson, they want to challenge their relationship, push their buttons, make them stronger.
This is M/M with humour and with sweet emotion. With characters that make you swoon and with a love and animal attraction that we all seek.
Take a chance, I know you won't regret it.

While Black Balled was more angsty, this one had more sentimentality. Larson and Troy still have their struggles but you also see more of their heart. Don't get me wrong, they are still the cocky alphas we came to love.
We get to see how their love grows and they actually mature. They need to learn a hard lesson in communication as well as opening themselves up to others. And of course there are plenty of steamy scenes to keep us turning the pages.
I did receive an arc in exchange for an honest review.

In the beginning i honestly could of banged their heads together! Honestly infuriating! Egos collide and insecurities rise from both of them and you just sit there yelling "bloody talk to each other!"
But, Yay they finally talk at Ida's insistence and they finally get their lives to sync up perfectly for them. I loved it so much from there on out.
The beginning again dragged a little but because i loved the journey as a whole and both the guys i'm forgiving it and i'm really happy i picked this series up. Its fun and sexy as all hell. The two of them are explosive. Their love eventually pours into your heart and you'll be really happy to know them.
Great series i'd happily recommend!
