    Aja’s uncanny ability to weave, love, mystery and thrills is absolute PERFECTION!!!! I’ve read the entire soul ties series and just cannot put my device. Her storytelling gift is poetic and stellar. She along with a dozen more black authors are magnificent at their craft and I look forward to reading all they have. This series in particular is breathtaking. Keeps you wondering how deep the gifts of the characters go and how their gifts effects their lives good or bad. Nonetheless this last installment is perfectly done and allows for a great transition to the next series. I’m looking forward to redemption and reconciliation!!! However stories keep you at the edge of your seat and allows you the opportunity to have self reflection and looking at life from different perspectives.     The women of this family possess unique gifts at a soul level. Their ties make them able to see into the future and the past and feel things hidden from the naked eye. For Zora though, this gift has not been always easy. It hasn't protected her from pain or a broken heart. Neither has it made the shedding of a close spiritual conjoining in her past easy in her present. Yet, it is exactly this that is called for if Zora is going to allow the fullness of a new love to reach and fill her.     Finally, I had been anticipating Zora's story since I met Zola in book one. It was a long time coming, but well worth the wait. I have been wondering what happened in Zora personal life to have such a strong hold on her. Zena took on the mother role and raised herself, Zola, and Zoe. It was past time for Zora to let go of her past and heal. The person to help her elevate was Solomon. He came into her life at the right time and moment. He was able to open her soul and heart. Zora needed to feel and be loved like her daughters.

    This is another magnificent read, that you should indulge in. The series is four books each are powerful in their own right. All of the women are unique in their own way. You will enjoy this read and fall in love with the healing process of Zora.

    In Soul Ties, Author Aja has penned a beautiful wrap-up to the Soulmates series. We've watched as Zora Green saw her daughters, Zena and Zola, and her granddaughter Zoe, all find their true love and realize their heritage of clairvoyance. It's now Zora's turn to deal with the past marriage demons that closed off her heart to love. But what is destined will happen, even when she does everything to keep Solomon King, her "friend-with-benefits", a secret.

    This book dug deeper into Zora's psyche than any of the other books did with their Z- woman heroine, and it was extremely well done. I enjoyed the book's climax and the story and series resolution. Kudos to author Aja for bringing this series and these women to life. They will undoubtedly remain favorites of mine.
