    Wick and Cassandra meet when they are both substitutes for participants in a charity blind date event. The event calls for them to be blindfolded and even though they can’t see each other their attraction is quick and incendiary. Unfortunately, Cassandra is plagued by insecurities that almost come between them. However, Wick is the perfect, steady man for her. This is my first story by this author and it will not be the last. I suspect we will get Cullen’s and Starr’s story next. I can’t wait!!!!

    I thought this story was just okay. I really enjoyed the initial setup and the idea of how the two main characters met, it just kinda fell flat for me after that. There was a lot of unnecessary buildup to the first date that felt like filler to be honest. And by the time they are on the date, the conversation is just so boring despite being told they have intense chemistry. I enjoy female protagonists who are not perfect but the one in this book just felt a little too insecure which led to a very stereotypical misunderstanding about another woman that made me want to roll my eyes. The male protagonist fell kinda flat for me too. I ended up skimming the book through the unnecessary slow parts and by the end of it, I realized that not much happened beyond a first date, second date, misunderstanding, and then conclusion. So I'd say this is a good book to pass the time but it's not very memorable overall. The writing was good but the story was just average and the characters weren't very interesting even though it started promising.

    This was short but packed a punch! Loved this sweet and saucy romance! Nothing like a man that knows what he wants and he’s fired up to get it! Cass is a very wounded woman who has some serious self worth issues. I would have loved this story to have been longer but I enjoyed the novella!
