Lookin’ For Trouble by Ciana Stone is one of those novels where you want to read it as fast as you can because it is so good you want to know how it ends but on the other hand you want to read it slowly and savor the story because you love the characters and you feel like you are living in their world. I’m a huge fan of Cotton Creek and I have been waiting for Cody and Riggs’ story. Ciana Stone did not disappoint! This story made me laugh and cry and hold my breath and at the end..smile.
Cody has known since first laying eyes on Riggs that he “was the one”. She doesn’t care that he’s been married twice before. She doesn’t care that he is much older than she is. She doesn’t care that he is a loner and a drifter and doesn’t stay in one place for longer than six months. After Cody saves Riggs from a rig accident at the job site their attraction finally becomes reality.
Intertwined in the story we find out how Hannah and Cooper are faring in planning their wedding. We get to know Bryson and we meet Belinda and her daughter Bernice. They play a huge part in the story and add to the suspense.
The story has a few twists and turns that keep the reader guessing but there is a VERY happy ending.
