Who am I?

I’m a native Californian gone 'wild', and had the opportunity to travel the globe and discover the world through the eyes of both a Marine Intelligence specialist and a BDSM lifestyler. I left the service and received a BS in Biological Sciences/Marine Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Physics and then went on the gain my Masters in psychology. Following a government shut-down, I ventured into hospice nursing and grief counseling, and extended my practice to marriage and family therapy for those involved in alternative lifestyle development. This experience has allowed me to gain unique perspective for my books and offer realistic plots and relatable characters.

My first book, The Game Plan, was published in 2012 and opened the door to the now-booming world of Age-Play literature. Since that time, I’ve devoted my ‘spare’ time to writing, researching, community involvement, and private and group pro bono counseling in deviant behavior, alternative lifestyle, and addiction recovery.

I was formally ‘dungeon trained’ as a Domme before discovering my submissive side when I joined the service. My scenarios are pulled primarily from either personal experience or observation, including spending time in BDSM clubs as the safety/medical officer. My multi-faceted background allows me to glean from many avenues and give a unique and intelligent literary experience through elements of fantasy and fiction. I also discuss the questions and psychology of the lifestyle in a manner that is fun and informative, and based on 'the real deal.’

Guardian Domination is probably my favorite of Breanna's books. Kind of a spoiler alert doncha think? But what you don't know is why. Don't worry, I'm going to tell you ;) Celeste Bronston is 18 years old and facing jail time unless she agrees to let Jace Jordan become her legal guardian until the age of 21. What's the catch? She doesn't know it yet but Mr. Jordan is a Dom and believes in corporal punishment. What I like about this book is that when it starts out there is a very special bond between Celeste and Jace. He is 13 years her senior and doesn't have a romantic interest in her. He gives her ground rules, punishment when she needs it, and unconditional love. And she starts to flourish because of it. There are many misadventures, music gigs, tutoring sessions, lasting friendships, oh, and did I mention puppies? When feelings start to develop they progress naturally. You are cheering for them to get together even before they start to have romantic feelings for each other.

Here's an excerpt:

"I am going to have to punish you, though. Your behavior was unacceptable."

"You aren't going to take away the puppies, are you?" I panicked.

Jace shook his head with a slight chuckle. "Heck no; those little mutts are here to stay too." He paused. "No, I'm afraid I am going to have to spank you."

"What?!" I stared at him in horror. "Are you nuts? I'm 18 and way too old to be treated like a baby. You can't do that. It's child abuse! You promised never to hit me!"

He stayed calm. "Make up your mind; are you 18 or a child? And I promised to never bruise your face. I said nothing about your bottom."

To me this book was much more revolved around the development of two people's feelings between a Dom/sub. I totally respected that because with these books its just normally filled on sex and lust with nothing promising to build a relationship on really. However with this book I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy reading about the discovery of a young woman who needs a firm loving hand to keep her in line. The 'spanking' was a major involvement in this book, and it was interesting to read as punishment matured the young girl into a young woman submissive. I do love a good erotica and yes this book has one or two love scenes but for me i enjoyed a change in style, and was totally immersed in the lifestyle and relationship of a dom and sub. A definite five stars for this elegant read :)

One thing I love about this author is that her stories are longer than some of the super short books out there today. And so many times, the main characters meet and fall in love in a single day, declare their love at the end of the week, and tie everything up with a marriage proposal at the end of huge second week. Well, this story takes two years. How great is that? A professional Dom takes over the guardianship of a girl/woman. He remembers her fondly as a child and remembers thinking, even back then, that she wasn't getting treated right. So he steps in as her last hope before prison. This is the story of two years of tough love. Nothing hugely dramatic. No guns, no kidnapping, no mafia or aliens. Just a group of people living their life with the daily stresses introduced by outside influences of school, work, peer pressure, etc. it was a sweet, refreshing story that really takes a lot of time to portray the emotional connection that may be forged through love-based discipline. It's a nice read.
