I love how Bella Stone weaves a story. This new Nemesis Inc, series is chock full of suspense, action, drama and romance. The characters for upcoming books in the series were intoduced in Dalton and are an eclectic group. The main quarry for at least the first few books is The Organization; a nefarious power hungry, global group bent on world domination through scheming, blackmail, trafficking and any other unscrupulous means. The only thing standing in their way are the Nemesis Alpha team. I am hoping that Ms Stone is doing some long range series planning as she mentioned a Bravo, Charlie and Delta team in Cormack.
Cormack starts off on a fast pace that is a bit of a white knuckle ride. Getting a call suggesting that he trade his woman, Willow Black, for Lina Maxwell Knight puts Cormack "Jeep" Ford in a panic. She on the east coast and he's in Montana. Can he get to her In time to save her? As it turns out, all the times Cormack subtly instructed Willow when the were out on walks or adventures really did sink in because she saved herself by channeling Ford's instructions as she fled for her life. There's a lot of drama over Willow and Ford's relationship. To say that Dalton is outraged would be putting it mildly but Willow easily puts her Uncle D in his place as few people can or would dare to try to. Adjusting to life on Nemesis ranch has a lot of great advantages but she's afraid to embrace them fully in case she's making too much out of her relationship with Cormack. Danger rears its head again and Nemesis pulls in all available operators for an all out rescue mission. Once the smoke clears and all involved parties deal with the physical and mental trauma Willow and Cormack get thei HEA.
