    Some time ago, I told an author that their words could speed or slow my heart rate, and it was received as VERY high praise. I think that’s the best thing I can say about poetry, and Ginger’s words set my heart racing, or settle it down nicely. Sometimes sharp, sometimes sensual, small doses of high-proof words injected into the brain and percolating around well after the book is laid down.

    It has been said that the best poets can invoke a multitude of emotions with a handful of words. This author does just that, showering the reader with deep passion and longing. Each poem can stand alone but all connect to form a desperate picture of love and loss.
