About the author

I am honored and blessed to have been awarded a 2020 NYC Big Book Award Distinguished Favorite for my sci-fi fantasy novel and a 2022 PenCraft award for the first book in my witchy vampire series. I am a vampire-obsessed romance novelist and dark poetess, spending my days raising my daughter, traveling with my husband, and attending concerts with friends. I adore weird art and Monster High Dolls. I love to connect with other authors/readers and the writing community on X, Instagram, Threads and Facebook.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2023Have you ever read a book that was so sweet and turbulent (in the best way) and you just couldn’t put it down? That’s how this book is for me. I loved every second and especially loved the time frame this was written in (which was surprising in itself!) considering it was a short story, the characters were well developed and I found myself swooning, just as Elora did! My only complaint is there’s not more of it!! To be fair, the book is ended well and leaves the happiness to your imagination. A must read!!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2024I got such a feeling of nostalgia reading this. When I was a teenager, I was always reading those historical romances with the headstrong female lead and this took me right back to those days, but with spice!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2023Elora capsized her sailboat and was washed ashore where Asher found her. Elora is independent and wants to explore. She came to California to see the Manor. She didn't expect to fall for the grump of the manor. The book is all consuming you want to see what happens next. This author has quickly become one of my favorites
- Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2025Y’all, I went into Loving Elora expecting a quick, steamy romance, but what I didn’t expect was a beautifully written historical fiction that completely swept me away. This Edwardian-era novella was pleasantly surprising and deliciously good—the kind of book you devour in one sitting and then immediately wish there was more.
The story follows Elora, a fiercely independent artist who finds herself stranded on the rocky California coast after a storm. Enter Asher—the moody, brooding bachelor of Thorpe Manor who rescues her. And let me just say, the tension between these two? Chef’s kiss. From the moment they meet, you know their connection is electric. But what happens when more than one man is fighting for your heart… and you realize it only truly belongs to one?
With only 98 pages, this book is short but completely immersive. The romance is intense, the atmosphere is rich, and the historical details? So well done! this book is all-consuming in the best way possible.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2022I loved it!! You can tell right off the bat that she was his soul mate. I am so happy things turned out the way they did!!:) I'm so happy for her.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for a taste test of historical romance
The sample of this novella drew me in. A quick and sweet historical romance, which is not usually a genre I go for, so kudos to the the author for their writing style to capture my attention.
