    After the Happily For Now that we read at the end of Lucky Break, the first book in the LuvLuck novella series by Author KL Shandwick, it’s now been four months and Jamie Fontaine, lead singer of DistRoyed! has disappeared without a trace.

    This time it is Daisy’s POV and she was bereft and trying to move on with her life, unable to reconcile the man with whom she’d had an intense affair with the one who’d upped and left with nary a word. When she finally gets a phone call from Jamie’s assistant, my eyes almost popped out like organ stops as I read the passage where a fiery Daisy tears more than a strip of the hapless woman! I love everything about her. Jamie had better up his game plan if he’s going to be making up for this miscommunication.

    Once again, we get to revel in Ms Shandwick’s ever present subtle humour.

    Daisy and Jamie's story continues in this next installment of the Luvluck novella series. In this episode, they meet up again and start the path to get their happy ever after. Lots of quirky banter, over the top conversations and innuendos, humor, and emotions. Interesting group of characters who know no bound. Looking forward to book 3.

    This is the second book in the series and they need to be read in order. Jamie disappeared on Daisy four months ago. Just when she is starting to get over him, she gets a phone call from his assistant. Let’s just so it doesn’t go well at all. Then he comes himself. Hoping to explain why he left and get a second chance with Daisy. Daisy isn’t ready to just listen or pick up where they left off. Jaime’s reason is a good one but doesn’t explain why he didn’t let her know. But maybe he did leave her a letter that someone didn’t give to her. Daisy is willing to give a second chance. But frankly she just doesn’t know how they will work in the long term. He can’t just take a break and neither can she. They both have demanding jobs. No matter how much they love each other or work well together they still have to figure that part out. For now, Daisy is going to get a manager for the bar for a few days off to visit the states for Thanksgiving. I really enjoy this series. I was miffed at Jaime for how he left. Even know he had a good reason to go I don’t like the way he left. I am excited to read what happens next. Jaime’s nephews are a riot, they are so funny. That said they are still learning when they go to far with what they say. Great job KL Shandwick. I am excited to read more about these characters.

    “Lucky Chance” LuvLuck Novellas Book 2 by K.L. Shandwick continues Daisy & Jamie’s story and this one is as sweet and endearing as the first. After a broken heart and feeling abandoned, Daisy hesitantly decides to hear Jamie out and give him another chance. Jamie’s grand gesture of flying all the way to Ireland to see Daisy, even for just one night, so he can explain his abrupt departure…. well, fingers crossed that luck is on his side.
    This story unfolds with both Daisy and Jamie exploring their true feelings for each other and what that means going forward. Plenty of the sass and playful banter we’ve come to love about this Irish sweetheart and the rock star. I can’t wait to read the next one! ~Angie❤️

    Lucky Chance is the continuation of Daisy and Jamie’s story. Daisy was heartbroken when Jamie left and now she’s trying to move on, and then Jamie walks into her pub. Jamie has a lot of making up to do and she doesn’t make it easy for him. A trip to New York over Thanksgiving draws the couple closer together. I loved how Daisy stood up for herself and tells him just what she thinks about what he did. I can’t wait to read what happens next.

    Daisy’s heart was broken when Jamie walked out and she’d finally decided to try to forget him, until he walked in the door. After letting him know exactly what she thinks of what he did, hearing his explanation she understands and agrees to spend some time in New York with him.
    Spending time with Jamie’s family and friends Daisy learns more about Jamie and also the lifestyle that comes with being a Rockstar.
    Their time together ends to soon and Daisy wonders if they can make it all work, she knows she’s fallen in love with the man beneath everything, but the distance between them and then when the media finds out will they be able to survive.
    Can wait to see more from Daisy and Jamie.

    I'm so excited to meet the feisty, Irish, firecracker Daisy again.
    She is such a wonderful no nonsense character, she certainly tells Jamie how she feels.
    She is a totally different girl to any that Jamie has ever met, she is a fan, but not a groupie.
    So in the space of a few days Jamie falls for her hook , line and sinker...

    In book 2, shockingly, Jamie has deserted Daisy , leaving her heart broken and fuming. Just as she throws herself into preparing her pub for the busy festive season Jamie just strolls back into her pub....

    Omg, Daisy lets rip !
    How dare the sexy rockstar just waltz back in to her pub like nothing has happened !
    Oh boy, Jamie has a lot of explaining to do, but will he get the chance, or has he lost the girl of his dreams already?

    I'm really enjoying this series of stories, each one takes us deeper in to their lives, families and worries. But mostly the ever evolving love life of two very different people.

    Another fabulous series from K.L. Shandwick... just can’t get enough of her beautiful story telling and we have it here again with Jamie Fontaine and Daisy O’Donnell it’s a very addictive read all the way through the two stories and I can’t wait for the 3rd Lucky Star!
    Jamie is endearing as ever saying all the right things but this is what this author is so good at, she brings her characters and portrays them wonderfully!
    With the miles between them there are going to have to be some compromises somehow somewhere and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
    I’m also looking forward to more laughter from Ryan and Nick... absolutely hilarious!!

    Lucky Chance is the second part of Daisy and rockstar Jamie's love story. 

    After fate seemingly brought these two together during a snowstorm, Jamie's disappearing act left Daisy understandably angry and broken hearted. Will his explanation and heartfelt apology be enough to fix them or has he ruined everything with the beautiful landlady he's fallen in love with?

    I really enjoyed this installment and I'm very glad Daisy stood her ground and told him what for. She's fabulous, feisty but with insecurities and a strength to still stand up for herself.  Jamie is a sweetheart and down to earth, he's supportive and loves his family. His feelings for Daisy have knocked him for six but he's determined to win back her love and trust.  The banter with his family and best friend was hilarious, there was a great mix of lighthearted and ore serious moments.

    Their path to true love is not easy especially with Jamie's international star status and the physical distance between their daily lives. They are so well suited though, sweet but with fiery, sexy chemistry, I'm looking forward to what comes next for this couple.
