I found myself weeping at times, the range of emotions are vast and swallowing. Though the little rifts in language that these poems make visible, The themes are familiar , melancholy and lightened with even some unexpected humor. There’s a strong overlap between his poetry and his music. His poems are certainly indeed powerfully relatable, honest, heartwarming, beautifully constructed, keenly observed, personable and his his drive to keep making music and sharing it with the world is impressive by far. His creative approaches are important to him by going to great lengths to keep it lively. I’m intrigued by the depths of this book where truly original beautiful collections of art have flourished.
