I have eclectic interests, which has been awesome for teaching as well as writing. Some of those interests are in herbal medicine, art, music, dance, neuroscience, psychology, science fiction, astrology, Reiki, Quantum Touch, experimental cooking and chocolate.

I am a parent, writer, speaker and educator. I received a M.Ed. specializing in Early Childhood from the University of Illinois in Chicago and have extensive post-graduate work in special education from Northeastern Illinois University.
