About the author

When she's not shelving books in the library or reading other authors' works, Kathrine Willson is busy writing her own novels. Her latest book, The Price of Power, is the first book in her new series 'The Darington Files'. Her new crime fiction series is set in 1960s Los Angeles and takes the reader along for the ride with Capt. Justin Darington as he solves homicide cases throughout the city.
Her first series, A Tale from the Darkness, spawned from a broken wrist and the realization that the Phantom of the Opera never had his say, so she sat down and allowed him the chance to tell his own story.
You can find her on Facebook, Goodreads, Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING 🔛🔝 (I’m still speechless )
I just finished reading the book, and it was one of the best books I have ever read . I loved the way you included little things from the original phantom of the opera and how you made it feel like it was a real life story . I cried at some parts and the way I gasped at the plot twists on the book chefs kiss . The ending left me speechless really I was not expecting it to go that way, I’m REALLY looking forward the next book , keep up with it 💞

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic interpretation of a well-known character
If you have read the first book in the series, you know that this book is about Erik, aka The Phantom of the Opera. It catches up with him 10 years later, and the development of his character is outstanding. I was angry when he suffered injustice, I cried when he was heartbroken, I laughed out loud at his attempts at parenting. He is a very human, very believable and very relatable character. Anyone who has raised a child will feel his angst. There are some historical references in the book that were quite clever, but I don't want to give anything away. The book ends on a cliffhanger, so buy the next book too!
