About the authors
Rune has been telling tall tales since the age of five. Ghost stories and other paranormal tales are her favorites, especially if they’re funny.
When she was a child, she had an invisible friend. Now that she’s gotten older, she collects weird characters and odd people, both in her books and in real life. She’s a veteran, a mom, and a grandma. She’s also trainable. As proof, the squirrels have trained her to refill the bird feeder on command, and the local strays often just move right in.
I write magical mysteries with a time-travel twist. Join me in Enchanted Springs, where ghosts are friendly, magic is real, and time is anything but linear! You can also find me online and across social media @ciellekenner.

R.M. Murphy lives in Eastern Pennsylvania with his wife, children, and a bossy five-pound Yorkie. With a degree in music business, Ryan has owned and operated a full-line brick-and-mortar music store and plays various musical instruments—guitar is his favorite. Shortly after learning of his father-in-law’s latest culinary venture, a pizza truck on the beaches of Puerto Rico, Ryan was bit by the writing bug and began working on his first mystery series, The Rolling Dough Pizza Truck Mysteries.
Alicia Ellis decided to write books about ten minutes before graduating from law school. She’s now an Atlanta attorney moonlighting as an author, electronics junkie, and secret superhero. With two degrees in computer science and an MFA in Writing Popular Fiction, she loves creative problem-solving, especially as it relates to high-tech things. Alicia writes mysteries, sometimes for young adults, sometimes in fantasy or science fiction settings, and sometimes in the real world.
Her debut novel, Girl of Flesh and Metal, a young adult sci-fi mystery, was the first self-published book ever to make the American Library Association’s LITA Excellence in Children’s and Young Adult Science Fiction Notable Lists.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2024Field of Schemes is part of the A Graveyard of Secrets Anthology. It is a short Halloween story about some damaged pumpkins and who is doing it. Was it one of the neighbors? While PK was asking around, he couldn’t gather information to help him solve the case. This was a fun reading that had you guessing who could be the culprit and why.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2024The anthology is just perfect for a cozy Halloween read, with spicy tales and intriguing mysteries. Each story introduces a new twist, from the quirky small-town detective to the weird happenings at graveyards. However, what stands out even more is the blend of lighthearted fun and a few moments of suspense. The characters, like any gossipy best friend and lovely pets, just make all of them so relatable and charming within the mystery. These are short tales, but with enough detail to impress the readers and keep them guessing until the very end. Whether a story of paranormal or non-paranormal nature, there's definitely going to be one in this that will keep you entertained. Entertaining collection of various stories, can easily read it and enjoy the atmosphere. Worth a pick when someone is in the mood for a quick, Halloween mystery.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2024Kudos to the Cozy Mystery Tribe for another great anthology!
I just love the anthologies put out by the tribe. The stories are always new, and there’s always a great mix of new and returning authors. You’ll find old favorites with familiar characters and fun new writers to explore and maybe follow. There are several that I’ve discovered through the anthologies and are now part of my regular reads. I have never been disappointed in any anthology - my only complaint is that I hate when I reach the end! More, more, more!
If you’re new to these collections, go back and check out the older ones. You won’t be disappointed.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2024A short story about a pumpkin patch and what is happening to it. You will have to read it to know. Enjoy.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2024I loved all the stories. They all involved murder and mayhem. Perfect for a Halloween read. Each author did a wonderful job.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 25, 2024This was a quick cozy that made me want to get to know the characters better, which is exactly what you are looking for as part of an anthology! I liked that the protagonist was trying to solve the murder without being SO intrusive and unrealistic. The clues came to him. The backstory of why he is interested in solving mysteries was plausible and the gossipy best friend was just like someone you know if you live in a small town. This is worth a read and will make me look for more from this author.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2024There's a lot going on in this storyline. And many layers of purpose. I love what PF does and learns. Such a neat short story.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2024The story, Buried in Silence, tickled my funny bone on the first page. I love the voice. And a llama? There’s a pet llama! I could tell right away this was going to be a fun and easy read, and I was right.
If you're in the mood for a spooky, quick-read, cozy cemetery story set in a Southern small town populated with quirky characters, you may like Buried in Silence, one of the stories in the anthology, A Graveyard of Secrets. I’ve only had a chance to read the one story, but it is well-written and was easy to read.
Sweet tea, a dead body, and a riddle. Classic cozy with an unexpected discovery of a body and southern spookiness.
Content: Two uses of OMG. Visions.
I received a complementary copy of Buried in Silence and voluntarily left this review. All opinions are my own.
