    My name is AdELA, and I’m a children’s book author and musician. While music has been my primary career, I recently embarked on a new creative journey, inspired by my two beloved dogs, Hunny and Koko.

    Hunny, who passed away a year and a half ago, left an indelible mark on my heart. I wanted her legacy to live on in a meaningful way, and that’s how the Hunny & Koko series was born. These stories are a celebration of the love, joy, and hilarity they brought to my life. I’ve taken our silly real-life adventures and adapted them into a mix of heartwarming, real-life, and whimsical, imaginary scenarios.

    Through these tales, I hope to share the special bond I had with Hunny and Koko, while inspiring young readers to embrace love, friendship, and a sense of wonder.

    My first Hunny and Koko book and I loved it. Two sweet dogs with different priorities (snacks? Hair products?) go to the supermarket together. What happens next will shock you. Okay it won’t shock you, but it will warm your heart. 😂 This would make a great read for a family with a toddler readying to go to the supermarket. Loved the vocab pictures at the end. If you take the book shopping with you, it can turn into a scavenger hunt. Super cute! Definitely recommend.
