Cindy Roman resides in Durham with her husband, son, and dog Mateo .
She started out a career as a daycare teacher and enjoyed entertaining the children through books by creating a voice for each character. At times she would act silly in front of the children as she acted out a character. Her classroom would laugh as she made a fool of herself to make the characters come alive. Cindy enjoyed reading books this way to entertain the children. She had a knack to be able to understand the needs and wants of each child in her class.
In her spare time, she enjoys nature walks and spending time with her family. She also helps other children's book authors promote their books through a group she has created.
She writes her books to relate to both parents and children.
