Born in France, Bérénice Darnault graduated in modern and medieval languages from the University of Cambridge, and completed her master in international relations and European studies at the University of King’s College, London. She pursued a career in international politics, working in the European institutions and collaborating with European parliamentarians in Belgium. Throughout her career, she has worked as a multilingual communications counsellor for a wide panel of different clients, ranging from doctors, politicians, actors, entrepreneurs, retired seniors and job seekers. A happy mother of a six-year-old boy, she is currently running her own business focusing on multilingual communication, international coaching and language (neuro)education counselling. Her current PhD research focuses on lifelong motivation and the psychological constructs in ageing brains. Her field of expertise ranges from experimental, cognitive psychology to foreign language acquisition and educational neuroscience in adult learning.
