Originally from Suffolk, England, my love of writing began with many letters home to my family when I immigrated to Canada at eighteen. From the chilly North West Territories to tropical life in Cali, Colombia, my letters were mailed. I didn't know then, but those letters became the way to hone my craft. I seek to use the gifts that God has given for His glory. I am a traditionally published author of two picture books, and both have won awards. With 20 years of experience in school libraries, I Have read over 5000 children's books. I am always working on new articles and books. As a presenter of book talks for school libraries, I also presented two years in succession at the Southern Alberta Library Conference on engaging student literacy.
