I grew up in Central Asia, in the Kyzylkum desert. That’s where my passion for storytelling began—along the Silk Road, inspired by rich Persian and Arabic culture, music, and poetry.
I lived two lives: the one my parents envisioned for me and the one I wanted. Writing was a vital part of that second life. I’ve always had a rebellious personality, and that shows in my book characters.
Many of my stories are shaped by my personal experiences, from living in various places across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. I love deserts, and I often write about them—they’ve always been a central part of my world.
