DP Prouty has been a soldier for more than twenty years and a trainer of soldiers for a dozen more. Serving in the ranks in a variety of locations in Europe, the middle east, and far east, gaining an appreciation for diverse cultures as well as the hazards of life.
His passion for history and strive to give voice to ancient characters gave birth to his first novel, the coming of age historical fiction “Home of the Brave.”
He enjoys weaving interesting stories of lesser known periods of history into adventurous interactions of both fictional and non-fictional characters. He is currently working on his second novel.
