High Notes of Poetry Finding Your Courage, written in dedication to her father.  High Notes of Poetry Finding Your Courage debuted to the world on July 23, 2024 as a Top selling New Release on Amazon.

After the passing of her father, Harrison found solace in the poetry of Maya Angelou. This pivotal moment in her life led her to immerse herself in poetry as a means of healing and self-discovery. Her book, “High Notes of Poetry,” is a testament to this journey. The collection is designed to help others find their voice and overcome life’s challenges through the power of words.

The book is divided into two sections, or “lyrics,” each filled with powerful and intentional messages. The first lyric represents grace, a theme that resonates with readers seeking to find peace and acceptance amidst turmoil. The second lyric signifies transcendence, encouraging readers to rise above their circumstances and achieve personal growth. Harrison’s poems encapsulate themes of confidence, love, strength, perseverance, and self-acceptance, offering a holistic approach to overcoming adversity.

“My hope is the book will help others find the strength to rise up and push through any adversities life brings their way,” Harrison explains. She believes that her heartfelt poems will encourage readers to reach for the high notes in their own lives, offering them the opportunity to discover their true selves and their unique gifts. By sharing her personal experiences and insights, Harrison aims to create a profound connection with her readers, inspiring them to embrace their inner strength and potential.

Additionally, she is involved in efforts to fight poverty and strengthen families, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact on those around her. She has donated several copies of her Poetry book to the Helping Hands Youth Center to inspire the youth to discover their unique gifts to overcome their challenges they are presently facing.

In her role as a mentor and advocate, Harrison has received various awards through her employers for her accountability and excellence in service. She is a respected member of her community, known for her unwavering dedication to helping the less fortunate move from a state of need to realizing their full potential. Her involvement in organizations that promote public education and health and wellness for teens showcases her multifaceted approach to community service.

The collection is a reflection of her own path to healing and self-empowerment, offering readers a roadmap to finding their own strength and resilience.
