A recovering criminal attorney with a Master's Degree in Tropical Conservation Biology, Judy K. Walker has been face-to-face with convicted murderers and thrown sharks off ships (for their own good). Just don’t ask her to look at a contract or oust a palmetto bug bare-handed—both will likely elicit a shriek of alarm.

Judy also created the Dead Hollow Trilogy, an Appalachian crime thriller series with a dash of paranormal that taps into her West Virginia origins.

She writes from her home in Hawaii, where she is surrounded by husband, feral pigs and chickens, assorted geckos, and the occasional stray dog.
