My first poetry book, Bloodroot, was published in June by Luchador Press. It is a tribute to my female ancestors/relatives. I am currently writing a memoir about growing up in the 1960s in a dysfunctional home.
I am a full-time associate professor of English, humanities, and communication at the University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima. I also serve as department chair.
