About

Kevin Hensley is a retired United States Air Force veteran who served 8 tours overseas. Upon returning home his health rapidly declined from burn pit exposures. The VA denied service connection even though he underwent a lung biopsy to confirm he had constrictive Bronchiolitis, a terminal lung disease. He joined the vso nonprofit BurnPits 360 and began advocating with other sick veterans to force the VA to give toxic exposed veterans the benefits they deserve. After a few years advocating on Capitol Hill, a bill was finally passed called the pact act in August 2022. Kevin was present when president biden signed the bill into law at the White House. He has since co authored a book called “The Promise” about his journey. He lives in Michigan with his wife & continues to fight for veterans rights as a national legislative committee member with the VFW.
