After an award-winning career in television working for such notables as HBO, CBS and National Geographic, Mary returned to her first love—writing and especially about horses.
She is also a Reiki Master trained to work with both people and horses.
Having discovered the power of reiki takes a quantum leap when practiced with a horse, Mary realized she already had the perfect partner—Seymour, The Mighty. But even all great things come to an end. In June of 2018, The Mighty See, beloved of many, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.
Mary now lives in Winston-Salem, NC with her Aussie, Lizzie Blue, and her (Mainly) Maine Coon, Stormy Viola G. For years, she worked with rescue horses, and lived in hope that a heart horse partner might come again.
In March 2022, that day came: a beautiful Marsh Tacky named Beaumaris, barn name Fancy Pants, joined her! With the spirit of Seymour, The Mighty, walking with them, loveliness—and a mane and forelock—abounds…
