I am afraid of writing. I find the process of putting pen to paper cumbersome and difficult. I struggle with spelling, grammar, and even punctuation. I was scared I could never, in my life, achieve something as noble as crafting a novel. I never thought of myself as an author or even a writer. But I love a great story. So one day, I decided to face my fear and just started writing. In that decision, I found freedom.
In 2020, I finally decided to write a book focusing on several of my favorite genres; science fiction, fantasy, and history. These themes culminated in my first book, The Fountain of Youth. Based on the fictional fountain of youth, in a time of great strife, World War II.
