I lived in Baltimore, Maryland, from the day I was born until I was about five years. For the last three years of that time, my parents and I lived in apartments on the site where the Baltimore Ravens now play football. I grew up in the burbs and returned to the city after college graduation but left to become part of the back-to-the-land movement. When that life collapsed, I became a college professor, work I enjoyed. Although I retired from teaching English, I continued teaching yoga until the pandemic hit.
Through all these experiences, I wrote. Shiftless in Sheboygan is my first published novel, and I hope readers are enjoying it. I'm currently working on Book Two of the trilogy, and I am also revising a historical romance.
