Sometimes my life seems like a testament to bad judgment and wishful thinking. My wife of 46 years said she didn't know of anything in my record to justify such unfettered optimism.
I worked in a large animal veterinary practices in small Wisconsin towns for 19 years before I returned to grad school where I earned a Ph.D. in microbiology. For the next 19 years, I worked in the research and development of bovine and swine vaccines until I retired in 2012. Since then I've written drivel disguised as novels.
