Marvis F. Cox Sr. was born in Chicago, linois in the winter of 1981. He entered into the United States Army Infantry, E5 Sergeant was his final rank. He entered the Army in 2001 and was sent to Iraq to serve in the war of Operation Iraqi Freedom (9/11).
Marvis did 9 years overseas (3 deployments) and was honorable discharged due to service-connected disabilities from the war, Mars has been happily married for seven years to his wife Jacquiline. They have a blended family of five children of whom he loves deeply.
Marvis graduated College in 2015 with two Associates degrees from Waubonsee College. He is a Life Coach for urban and troubled youth and is also a Motivational Speaker.
Marvis plans to continue to write and give back to his community as much as possible. He hopes to one day open his own nonprofit so troubled youth can come and learn disdipline and leadership skills to assist them with becoming successful, despite the difficulties and challenges of their environment
