Ruth Larrea was born in Canterbury, studied English at Newcastle, and wrote an MA thesis on Virginia Woolf at Birmingham. After teaching, travelling and trying self-sufficiency, she wrote and illustrated walks leaflets and interpretative materials for the North Devon Heritage Coast Service and the National Trust. At North Devon College she taught ESOL to fascinating adults from all over the world and was responsible for the tutor-training programme. After the Bath Spa MA in Creative Writing, she moved to Spain with her Spanish husband. They have a son, daughter-in-law and four grandchildren in Australia. Her novels, Fragments of a Dream and Between Two Shores, are available on Amazon in Kindle or paperback.
