Vera Payne lives in Naples (sadly not the one near the Vesuvius), Florida, where the temperatures, as warm as in the south of coast of Italy, led her to abandon the safe harbour of a stable but boring office job in favour of writing romance thrillers laced with eroticism. She enjoys swimming in the sea when her laptop has seen too much of her and confesses willingly that she has quite an addiction to historical fiction and series, which may or may not feature dragons, walls and multiple kingdoms.
