The journey continues – the fast-moving sequel to Finding Carla Carla is back on the Mother Road in her namesake Corvette – this time with her newly retired husband, Tom, by her side. Eager to make up for past mistakes, he has a few surprises planned – some so unexpected they leave Carla wondering just how well her husband of more than thirty years really knows her. From a terrifying helicopter ride over the Hoover Dam to a heart-pounding spin on the rollercoaster Insanity in Las Vegas, Tom pulls out all the stops – even arranging a dramatic proposal at the top of the Stratosphere, despite the fact they’re already married! At first, Carla struggles with being pushed out of her comfort zone, but she soon begins to embrace Tom’s efforts and discovers the thrill of trying new things. Yet not everything is carefree – her friend Merle’s terminal illness casts a shadow over the journey, and Tom seems distracted by something of his own.
