My new chapbook titled Waiting is a collection of ghazals recording the emotional journey of my pregnancies -- anticipation, trepidation, stress, change, loss and joy. These meditations are intensely personal and organic, but I believe they also resonate on a universal level. These poems are for mothers, mothers-to-be, and anyone who is privileged to be a witness to the journey of growing a human being, the shifting in the lives of parents-to-be, and welcoming these souls into the world.
