Life is great for the frogs and one turtle who live at Meadow Pond--except, of course, for the weekends when the Mean Redboat kids come to the nearby lake. Then they must stay hidden or risk being captured and taken away, never to be seen again. But the rest of the week they are free to enjoy their pond and to explore around in their green meadow. Free, that is, until Hes-per, the giant snake from the edge of the forest, decides he wants a frog to eat! Soon Hes-per becomes a big problem, and the frogs are too scared to leave their pond. What are they to do? Web, Meadow Pond's bravest frog, has an idea. Will his idea work? Will Hes-per finally go away so the frogs can be safe once again?
