Enjoy!

cozy-mystery, humor, law-enforcement, conspiracy, extremists

Two groups of hate extremists join together and victimize a man already victimized by circumstances. They teach him marksmanship and to take the fall for assassinating the President and give him the money his family needs. At this same time, there is more drama within our old friend Walt's group of friends. Add in the folks at Homeland Security, and both insanity and humor ensue. Another good think piece on the good, the bad, and the ugly.
George Kuch continues his stellar performance as narrator.

A delightful listen

I have really enjoyed this series, love the dry humor of Walt and all his friends who help keep him out of trouble. The author knows how to keep you entertained, with danger, thrills and humor. I love the authors twisted plots that always keeps me guessing.

The narrator does an outstanding job bring the characters to life, giving them true emotion that makes you laugh out loud. He male and female voices are right on the money, you always know who is talking and what they are feeling. There are no background noise, no repeating of words and no volume changes. He has really bought this series to life for me. He has a voice I could and have listened to almost all day.

It always amazes me how the author comes up with more things for Walt to get into, it is never a dole moment hanging out with these characters. I am always left with a smile on my face and can't wait to start the next one. The author and the narrator really blend well together giving you a story that really keeps you on your toes. It has been really a thrilling, exciting and fun ride.

Entertaining

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I found this book entertaining. I enjoyed reading the book from the joint POV, though it did take away the mystery of the book, which just left Walt's unique humour, which can be a little grating, if you aren't a fan of "guy humour" and various accounts of Walt's inability to use the toilet correctly.

Lady Justice and the Assassin. Book 13

Another fantastic book by Robert Thornhill.
Two groups who hate each other join forces to find someone desperate and in fire need of money to kill the President. Once again Walt is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

George Kuch narrates this audible with an excellence only a few narrators can accomplish.

Another great listen!!!

I absolutely love this series!!! I love the fact that there are things that Walt has to deal with that are not just black and white... a lot of grey areas which provoke thought.

Lady Justice and the Assassin

This book covers another controversial subject and yet is able to put a smile on your face with some outrageous actions. I love Walt and his friends and how even though they get themselves into serious situations, they are always able to end being on top.

Lady Justice and the Assassin

It’s just another day in the life of 69 year old cop, Walt Williams, and boy does he lead an interesting life. Before getting caught up in the attempted assassination of the President, Walt and the gang solve a few more lower profile cases.

I love the action, intrigue, and especially the humor that Robert Thornhill weaves into his stories. This is one of my favorite series.

I’m so glad that George Kuch has continued to narrate the Lady Justice books. I can’t imagine this setting being performed by anyone else.

Great read

Lady Justice and The Assassin is my thirteenth enjoyable read/listen from author Robert Thornhill. Another entertaining clean read, filled with puns & one-liners, as always dealing with current social topics. Each book in the series seems better than the last as Thornhill continues to up his game. Narrator George Kuch again adds greatly to the listening enjoyment with his wide variety of entertaining voices & inflections, Kuch IS Walt Williams! I’ll definitely be reading more from Thornhill! I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Up next is Lady Justice & the Lottery. Since I own both the Kindle & Audible editions I was able to follow along while being read to. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
