      • I think every writer has experienced a drought in the creative process, however, I'm not sure I’ve ever experienced the technical meaning of writer's block. When I have encountered a crossroad on a story, I take a few days, clear my head, and run the possibilities through my head until the obvious path becomes clear to me.

      • All genres. Let them read whatever they like. Encourage them to read anything and everything, and fight to continue to create a lifelong passion for them. A life without reading to me is a vacant, hollow life, and reading is something everyone needs.

      • Yes, I read all of them, although it isn’t to hear the compliments or feel that I am successful at writing, its more about finding my faults and where I can improve to become the best author I can be.

      • Touching people in a way that takes them out of their stressful lives for a bit. Creating a world my readers can get lost in and want to return to often. Literary success has nothing to do with fame or fortune to me, and the only solace I take in earning loyalties is so that I can spend more time doing what my life’s passion is, writing.

      • I have been an avid reader since childhood, which is what spawned the dream of one day writing a novel. Although it didn't actually happen for thirty years following my desire, I have now written four books with two more kn the way and it is as every bit as fulfilling as I dreamt it to be.
