Paul takes a major global event - a natural phenomenon - and gives the reader such an intimate perspective of its effect on society and the general mindset which modern societies sit so precariously. He lays civilisation's frailty before the reader and peels it open, exposing where we would be if such an event ever occurred. It's not Hollywood, and that's one of the key appeals of Reliance. Highly recommend it.
