1 Manifesting Magic: A 21-Day Guide For Harnessing The Magic of Life Through The Law of Attraction - Published on Jan, 2021

Amanda Rose Interview On 22, Apr 2022

"Canadian Author Amanda Rose is a multi-published multi-genre author. She loved watching movies growing up and fantasized about being in them. She is the CEO and founder of The Infinite Power of You INC. She writes in a wide variety of genres, including Self-Help, Business, Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Literature."
What is the one thing you hated the most when growing up?

Not being taken seriously by adults drove me nuts. The ones who understood me often said I was 8 going on 80; I was very mature for my age and I liked to be heard.

Where does your love for acting come from?

I loved watching movies growing up and fantasized about being in them. This set me down the path of studying drama in high school and going to Humber College for acting for film and television as well as creative writing.

What is The Infinite Power of You INC. about?

My corporation, The Infinite Power of You Inc. operates under this core mission: shifting human consciousness to create soulful abundance through mindset practices. Ultimately, we are creating the pathway to free people from old ways of living and showing them how to create a life they truly desire to live.

When you write a memoir what are your emotions?

Often melancholy. It can be very painful to write about past experiences, to see in hindsight what was missed, the pain that we didn’t really need to endure, or the circumstances we had to wade through.

How do manage being a CEO, Multi-Genre Author, Motivation Speaker, Actor, all at once?

It’s often deceiving when we look at people who have high levels of success. It would appear that they must work 24/7, but that’s not the case. I’m a big believing in consistent daily micro actions, that over time, reap results. I work on these various aspects of my career in a paced and balanced way that allows me to enjoy the journey.

What sparked the idea for your book, Manifesting Money: How to Master and Apply Abundance Mindset In Your Life? Do you think after reading this book people will believe in the power of manifestation?

I spent the majority of my 20’s living beneath the poverty line. After enduring about a decade of financial strife I finally had to face it, head on, when my husband lost his job and at the time my business was only making $600-1000 a month. I chose to learn about money mindset, how successful people think and act, and I implemented it in my own life. Within 6-months we manifested over 6-figures and our lives radically changed.

Manifesting, the Law of Attraction, is like gravity, it works regardless of whether or not you believe in it. I do think, however, that the majority of readers believe in manifesting, on some level, before picking up a book about it. The sooner we learn to work within the laws of life the easier the path becomes.

Who inspired the character of Ayla Jefferson in "The Impending End"?

Ayla Jefferson is an alter ego for myself. That book, albeit fictious in aspects, it really about my life and my mental health struggles during my teens.

What fears did you have while publishing your first novel, Manifesting on Purpose?

Ironically Manifesting on Purpose was a “test” book that, to this day, is my best seller. I wanted to try out publishing before actually publishing the first book I ever wrote when I was 16, Fire Fury Freedom. I wasn’t so much nervous as I was hopefully that it would do well. Manifesting on purpose took off like wildfire and it’s been an incredible journey as an author ever since.

What is one question you wish interviewers would ask more? What would your answer be?

I wouldn’t say there’s once specific question that I wished was asked more, but rather that the nature of questions are deep and not surface level.

Have any of your books ever sparked a controversy? Do you think that controversy over a book is a bad or good sign?

The Fire Fury Saga tackles global warming, which of course can be a sensitive issue. A great book makes you think, revaluate your life, or the world, and therefor creates a ripple effect of change. While I don’t think a book needs to be aggressively controversial, it’s not necessarily a bad thing. Though I do believe change happens on an ever wider scale when we can all open our minds and put ourselves in someone else’s shoes to better understand their thinking. A bitter argument only ever serves to deeply entrench each party in their own thinking.

What takes longer: Writing the book or getting it published and marketed?

Writing, definitely.

Which writers would surprise you when you discovered they had written romance novels under a pen name?

I can’t say, romance isn’t a genre I often read.

Name one book that has had a really big impact on you.

Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T Harv Eker

What advice do you have for any budding writers out there?

Just do it! Write it and get it out there. Know that as a writer you’re the marketing team, your passion will sell it, so study sales and marketing!

How has been your experience to work with AllAuthor? What are some of the things you like about the site?

Wonderful. It’s been great to connect with readers and other authors! I love the cover of the month contest!

      • I have always loved to write, every since I was able to spell words and form sentences, because I love stories, and literary expression. Stories have always transported me to new worlds, be it through books, movies, or video games.

      • It's absolutely critical. The old saying, "don't judge a book by it's cover," may be prudent, however, we absolutely have first impressions. The book cover and title are the first impression a potential reader has, and if it doesn't compel them to read the book description, it's useless.

      • Yes, I read all of them. Honestly, it takes so much effort to create a book, from ideation, to writing it, editing, formatting, cover design, marketing it, that it's akin to birthing something new into this world. It's painful to get bad reviews, and it's elating to get good ones. While the emotional high or low is a par for the course, the key is loving your own work as an author, and trying not to take anything to heart. Ignore the haters and keep showing up for the fans.
