Angela Marie James writes stories and poetry for both children and adults.

She has performed her work over the last few years in schools, nurseries, colleges, universities, libraries, museums, clubs and at community events. After being asked on many occasions where people can buy her work, she is now in the process of publishing her first set of books (her first one 'Conflict' was released in April 2019).

Angela is available for author visits at schools, nurseries, colleges, universities, libraries, museums, clubs (e.g. brownies, scouts, holiday/after-school clubs, etc) and at community events. Angela lives in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire with her husband and fellow author and illustrator, Glenn Martin James and their two daughters, Charlotte and Elizabeth.

She has always been an avid reader, and could always be found with her head in a book as a child. She also enjoys going to the theatre (especially musical theatre), listening to music and being a school governor.
