Anastasia Simonds is a multi-genre writer and poet who enjoys writing heart-wrenching and emotionally poignant novels. Influenced by the culture of her British/Caribbean upbringing, Anastasia began focusing her talent on writing short stories when she was in college. The suspense novel, ‘Irrevocable Consequence’ is Anastasia’s first published book and fiction novel. It is suspenseful, heartbreaking, and beautiful, all in one and a must-read if you love psychological suspense. ‘The Falling of Jodie Skye’ is Anastasia’s third published fiction book, first romance and is a breathtaking story for lovers of romance.

‘Overcoming fear: Simple Yet Effective Tips for Becoming A Great and Fierce Fiction Writer’ is Anastasia’s first nonfiction self-help ebook and second published book and is very informative and a must-read for the soon to be writer.

Anastasia is happily married and currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her husband, Lewis.

      • When you experience writer’s block, put your work down, drink a warm cup of tea or coffee, and watch a suspenseful or thriller movie. Usually, the plot will stimulate your brain to think and continue on with your own plot.

      • Frankly, it isn’t too difficult. Just put yourself in the other person’s shoes and try to see it from their perspective. Our knowledge about the opposite sex is adequate enough to help us thrive on writing the character of the opposite sex. Both sexes experience the same emotions but to different extents. We just need to find that justifiable balance.

      • It is not very difficult. Put yourself in the other person’s shoes and you will be surprised to see how much you can experience. Our experiential knowledge of the opposite sex renders our information believable and we can translate this believability into our characters.
