BIOGRAPHY

I am a mother first, writer/author second and a poetess :). I've been writing for over 30 years, it wasn't until 19 years ago when I began to be comfortable with sharing my poems and stories. One weird fact about me, I enjoy writing. Not just writing poems and stories but writing as in my handwriting. There's just something about my handwriting. If it looks sloppy, I start all over again until it's neat and perfect to me. But at the end of the day, I can say that I love to write.

      • I fell in love with poetry when I was about eight years old. I thought it was so cool how you could express your feelings, describe a scene or even tell a story through poetry. It wasn't until a year that my brother passed away that I began to write. I discovered that writing was how I best expressed myself. I started and still write in a journal and if there is something that I am still feeling, I express through a thought and leave it as is or in a form o a poem. With that being said, I've been writing for 34 years.
