BIOGRAPHY

Kimberly Quay has loved fantasy fiction as far back as she can remember. Her childhood home was full of fantasy, thriller, and horror books and movies. Born and raised in Florida, she spent most of her youth outside searching for fairies and hoping to meet a vampire.

Author of urban fantasy and paranormal romance, she’s fascinated by old graveyards and things that go bump in the night. When she’s not working on her next novel, she’s reading or kicking her husband’s butt in darts.

Kimberly still loves reading fantasy fiction. Some of her current favorite authors include Kim Harrison, Patricia Briggs, and Charlaine Harris. She also enjoys gardening, board games, hiking, and classic sitcoms.

  - I went through a very hard time in my life. I wasn't sure what my future held. I threw myself into reading fantasy books. I became fascinated by the idea of beings who never got sick and whose wounds healed almost instantly. One day an idea popped in my head while doing my data entry job. I ran with it and here we are!

  - Don't give up! It's not easy but keep at it. Don't be afraid to make changes, a lot of changes. Take people's feedback without offense. They often just want to help. Research and grammar checks, they're important. ;)
