Charleston Lim was born on one of the 7,641 islands of the Philippines. Fortunate to have survived the island's predators, he managed to get a computer science degree and eventually marry the love of his life. He still lives on the same island with his wife and their perpetual-motion sausage dog.

Having worked various odd jobs, including writing regurgitated nonsense for news publications and peddling life insurance, he has now shifted his focus to writing about made-up worlds and people that not so long ago had only lived in his mind. He is a huge fan of science fiction. Anything involving aliens, quantum computers, and massive black holes gets his blood pumping.

He has released two science fiction books, titled "The Alcuin Rift" and "Echoes of Oblivion." He plans to publish more stories based on his morning shower daydreams and regular staring-into-the-void sessions. He continues to work on improving his writing skills, which is a challenge given that he is mastering a language that is not his first.
